"A smart man makes a mistake, learns from it, and never makes that mistake again. But a wise man finds a smart man and learns from him how to avoid the mistake altogether."
-- Roy H. Williams
Frank is educated as an IT Professional but really considers himself a Jack of all Trades. A logical brain, calm demeanor, and a good attention to detail allows Frank to tackle a wide variety of tasks and produce quality results. He is currently balancing efforts between contract work as Operations Support for a Logistics Team, occasional Carpentry work, and general support at a Scenery shop. Frank has been a System Assessment & Integration specialist, a SharePoint Team Lead, SQL Developer, business analyst, carpenter, and a few other IT roles in between.
Aside from being a technical problem solver, Frank has always had an artistic side. Having left IT for a few years in the early 2000s, Frank was a Carpenter’s Apprentice for a couple of years which allowed him to stoke his interest in fine wood working. This has been restoked in the last year or so and Frank has been doing some part time carpentry as well as general support at a theater scenery shop. He’s also spent time behind his drum kit as well as doing the occasional oil painting. Currently Frank’s artistic energy has been focused on photography, even as going so far as taking on a wedding from time to time.
Frank is very involved in supporting his town of Hingham Massachusetts. Having completed Hingham’s Citizens Police Academy (CPA) in the Fall of 2012, Frank established many connections with the Hingham Police Department. Following the academy he joined the CPA’s Alumni group and within a year not only joined the Board of the organization, but was nominated Chairman. Frank's relationship with the Hingham Police Department also presented the opportunity to lead the Hingham K-9 Foundation as its first President. Frank has become a member of Hingham’s Community Emergency Response Team by completing a program where volunteers are trained to assist in large scale emergencies. Finally, Frank was also named to the Board of Trustees for Hingham's Grand Army of the Republic's Memorial Hall. He’s slated to take part in the FBI Citizens Academy this Fall.
